WonderfulWednesday: ADHD is not the fault of me @jodiemarieeaton
This week's wonderful Wednesday share is from Jodie who writes at Autism with Lots of Love and Affection and is about the difficulties in getting and having an ADHD diagnosis accepted. It was published on the Huffington Post.
If you have a child with ADHD you have probably seen the looks of misunderstanding. When your child's behaviour is misunderstood. A look that suggests an ADHD diagnosis is nothing but the result of a naughty child or poor parenting?
Just like Jodie says, getting a diagnosis is not easy. It's something you struggle with and jump through a million hoops and attend neuro appointments to get. And you do it because you see your child struggle.
Jodie's article on the Huffington Post is a great read - if you haven't already, please go and have a look.
