This week's wonderful Wednesday is a piece written by Jodie Eaton called 'The Many Things I Love About My Child."
Jodie's daughter has autism. But her daughter is not defined by her autism. Jodie's article is a beautiful list of things she loves about her daughter. The way her daughter runs home from the school bus to see her brother and sister as soon as possible, Or the way she giggles at herself when she gets her words mixed up. It's completely adorable.
And it made me think of my own kids:
- I love the joy on David's face as he spins, and spins and spins at the playground.
- I love the pride Anthony has in himself
- I love the way they both adore their father
- I love the way Jane is soo desperate to play with us all
