This week's wonderful Wednesday share is a quote shard by the Purple Clover facebook page. We are always on the look out for autism friendly services or autism kind places. Often though I think that our kids with autism, in fact the whole family would have more successes if people were just kind more. Sympathetic, instead of judgemental. Or caring instead of defensive.

According to the National Autistic Society, it takes just the thought 'that person might be autistic' during an event for a person to approach a situation differently. I can't help thinking that although this is true, perhaps if people were always approaching situations with kindness, it could also improve outcomes too. And who would regret that?
So thank you to Purple Clover .. I think this quote is quite worthy of a wonderful Wednesday share.

ReplyDeleteThis quote is so true, and also 'Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see'. I think it's so important to be kind,and it saddens me that so many people aren't kind at all. #ablogginggoodtime
ReplyDeleteI love that quote! Not enough of us are always kind (myself included a lot of the time) and we need to start all doing that little bit extra to be kind and have more of a positive outlook on life and each other #ablogginggoodtime
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more. You'd never look back & think, oh I wish I wasn't kind that time. But being angry or quick tempered often brings regret. Why not approach things with kindness? It makes the world a nicer place to be! Thanks so much for sharing your quote with us at #candidcuddles

ReplyDeleteBeing kind is something I really try to do. I always make an effort to treat people how I would like to be treated, the smallest thing can put a smile on someones bad day. Great simple but thoughtful post #bestandworst
